Horay finally winter break has arrived. My finals were easier than I thought but I'm still waiting on the results.. Although my chemistry final was pretty rough which was on last Thursday. I had set my alarm clock for 9:00 but somehow I didn't hear it or something and I woke up at 9:50 when my final starts at 9:45. So I grabbed my jacket and backpack and sprinted out of the dorm. I got pretty tired when I got into the lecture hall which wasn't too far away from my dorm. Everyone had started already and were concentrating pretty hard so I didn't attract much attention. The professor was cool about tests and left one on each desk and allowed you to take it no matter how late you are, just that you get less time of course. Well about half an hour through the test, the lights went out and it was pitch black. The whole campus had a blackout and people started talking and stuff. Then one of my friends behind me whips out a flashlight and keeps on working on his final Haha. Who brings a flashlight with them to a final? I guess he was the one who caused the blackout.. Hah but yeah the lights eventually turned on about fifteen minutes later, which later added on time at the end of the test and that made up for my lateness. I felt pretty good throughout most of the test and hopefully I passed chem.. My calculus final was not too hard either. I know I didn't get an A but hopefully a B. But yeah Thursday was such a stressful day and I'm just glad its the break. During the weekend I went to Olive Garden with my cousin and my friend which was pretty good. I got a gift for Kristine's debut the next night which was alright. The food was good and it was cool seeing some high school friends again. Other than that I have been pretty much sitting at home and enjoying the break. Next semester I'm going to be taking 5 classes worth 16 units. I think it's going to be rough but I'm also looking forward to it. One thing's for sure is that college is a lot harder than high school. You actually have to study and earn your grades haha.

Thanksgiving weekend
Thanksgiving break was pretty awesome for me. I got to see my family and friends and enjoyed some scrumptious food. On Wednesday I went back to SF and hung out with some of my high school friends at Marc's house. I can't remember where we went to eat but it was getting late so I hurried to take the bart home. I got to the bart station at 1am about and waited for the train. I then realized that no trains were coming so I asked the bart assistant man and he said that bart running to SF stop at 12. So Angelo picked me up and some of us went to Starbucks. At Starbucks I ran into my middle school friend which was pretty random along with another highschool friend. Yup Starbucks is the place to be. So yeah I slept over at Marc's place and Tiff was able to drive me to bart the next morning.
On Thanksgiving day my mom's side of the family came over for lunch which was a first. Most of the family showed up and we had a good time eating and also celebrating my cousin's and my brother's birthdays. That same evening, my dad's side of the family came for dinner and we had almost the same foods Hah. I was still pretty full from lunch so I didn't really eat a whole lot. I also saw Kung Fu Panda which was a pretty good movie.
On Black Friday, I met up with some of my high school friends and hung out in downtown.. which wasn't the greatest idea. Most of the sales were gone but there were still a lot of people roaming around.. especially at night. I got a pair of jeans which I needed since two of my three jeans have holes in them. And the holes are at the same place for both of the jeans. I think its cause I keep my phone in my right pocket and brush against it a lot.. Well I got to downtown around 1 ish and we hung around until it was dinner time. I was able to catch the lighting of the Union Square Christmas tree which was alright. It was really crowded though so it took awhile to get to Dan's house. For dinner we went to Red Robins. It was either that or Chucky Cheese but I forgot my report card at home so it was Red Robins. I thought we would've gone to a little higher class of a restaurant but knowing us, Red Robins was even pushing it. It was good though. There were about sixteen of us and we rolled out in four cars. It was pretty a intense ride. I rode with Titus and when you ride with him with his pokemon theme song bumping, you better put on your seatbelt. I think he hit 90+ with traffic. but he's a good driver so we survived. After we ate, we went to Kasey's castle to hang out. Every time I go there I get lost and I have to call for Alfred to guide me back to the elevator. After Kasey's he drove me back home in his batmobile and that was my weekend. I relaxed on Saturday and headed back for San Jose on Sunday.
Here are some pictures of that paintballing event.

Good old days
So today was quite a fun day. I went paintballing with my cousins and friends of my oldest cousin. It was a fun experience and a lot better than halo haha. Although it hurts like crazy, it was worth it. I got hit in the head and thats probably the worst. The masks only cover your face so the top and back of your head is exposed. I could go into more detail but I think it would seem boring reading it off this thing, so if you see me around ask me about paintballing. hahah ok that was a useless post.
But anyways I just went through my small CD collection listened to some of the songs I used to listen to back in jr. high. Since mp3's weren't super popular yet, CD players were still the cool thing to have. I remember my old friend Cathy would give me CD's and recommendations about artists/bands. So recently I started listening to those songs and it made me laugh because I was into hip hop/rap back then. Theres all these songs by Ashanti, Usher, Chingy, and etc. Ah man I can't believe that I used to listen to this stuff. Anyways one song in particular I used to listen to a lot was Into You ft Ashanti. When I heard this song, so many memories rushed through my head about my experiences during middle school. I remember I would listen to my CD player before I go to sleep and this was one played a lot hahaha. Man that's embarrassing.. but I miss those days and my old school. I busted out my yearbook and read what people wrote on the covers. Almost everyone put some version of "K.I.T." (keep in touch) and its like uhh nope.. I guess its one of those in the moment kind of things. I also just realized that I am getting old and fast. College already and I still act like a kid. Well one of those things people have to except. But those sure were the good old days.

Smooth Week
This week has gone by pretty fast since we got Veterans Day off. So on our day off my friends and I checked out the Great Mall and Westfield. We skated/scootered around a lot too. I still suck at skating so it was alright. There was this one crack in the sidewalk and I was going slow so the board stopped and i kicked it back so I had to run and get it. As I was walking back this guy said,"Looks like you need more practice." That was when I took the skateboard and smacked his face and darted off. Haha just kidding. I actually took the skateboard and cried walking back.. Hah anyways I also got a pair of red chucks which look sick. This is probably the first clothing item I have ever purchased that is such a bright color. I don't know what got a hold of me. I usually wear neutral colors like gray or black. or grayish black. or gray and black. Now I have to find something to match red which is going to be hard. After Veterans Day there was a super smash bros brawl tourney in which I failed miserably. But my friend and I entered in 2v2s and we owned the first round since we played noobs. I was able to get a spike off and people watching were like "Ohhhhh" I felt cool for about 10 seconds until I realized I was being complimented by a bunch of nerds... thats when I felt even cooler. But after that first round we got our rears handed to in the following round and I cried walking back to my dorm.. haha just kidding. I took my chair and slammed it across their faces. lol sike. I don't have the physical strength to do that.. that as in lift the chair..
Today I finished watching about 10 straight episodes of The Office which is pretty awesome. I feel stupid laughing out loud when I'm watching it on my computer with my headphones on since my roommates give me weird looks. And yes it would be ten times better watching it with other people but hey, its not like you can get up and make new friends. I mean this is college. Ridiculous.

horay for obama
Kids were running down the halls and screaming outside when Barack Obama was announced the president. It seems all young voters were going for him. I want to say that I contributed but I do not think my vote counted. On Nov. 3rd, I was going to mail my ballot to SF, but I asked a guy working with the polls and he said that it was alright to just drop it off on Nov. 4th. So when I went the next day I was rejected soo I mailed it in the afternoon which I doubt made it in time but whatever Barack Obama won anyways. I agree with my cousin that this election seemed like more a racial issue rather than a debate. To vote for someone just because of their race is worse than not voting. Who knows how many people voted for Obama just because he's black. Well it doesn't matter now. I just hope he'll get us out of this mess.
Last weekend was Halloween weekend I hung out with some of my friends. It was good to see some high school friends coming back from college. The week went by fast but I have the cold which sucks. I don't get sick very often so I'm always not used to it and hate it. My nose was running all day especially in my chem lab. Ah it was horrible. I walked pretty fast to the dining commons because I got really hungry after my class and I had the usual orange chicken, rice, and chow mein which is there everyday. But it tasted so good today and I took a nap after that and I felt a little better. I went to my math class and took my weekly quiz. The teacher asked if I was alright and I said yeah even though I must have looked pretty bad for her to ask.. I couldn't really stand my cold so I just left within the first half hour of class. I just finished doing my laundry and I'm looking forward to sleep again. Besides that, I got a decent grade on my math mid-term and an A for my essay in English which made my day. Also there was a paper on the wall advertising a super smash brawl tourney. There's no entry fee and the winner gets a gift card to game stop. After I finished reading the paper I was like yeaaaah finally. Although I'm not that great at brawl I feel I can do pretty good. I'm better than the average player. So when I get home this weekend I'm gonna practice haha. You know you're a nerd when your adrenaline rushes when you think about going home to play video games..which has never happened to me of course. Well once again I can't wait until I get to go home and relax. Thats about it

Friendship Games
The past weekend I went down to CSU Fullerton in Socal along with the Filipino club to compete in the Friendship Games. There were about thirty other schools competing and it was prettty fun. We wound up winning first for the games and got this nice trophy.. although I was a sub for one of the game so I didn't feel I contributed at all. But well on Friday we left San Jose at 11:30 when they told me to meet at this certain spot at 10:15 so they can leave at 10:30 sharp. faiil. I was somewhat upset cause they made me skip my class on Friday just so I could stand around and wait for the cars to show up. Well the ride there was somewhat smooth. I rode with Titus and some other people I just met. If it weren't for Titus the ride would have been boring so I'm glad I got to ride along with someone I knew. We got there around 8pm and the schedule was to have a meeting at 12am. sleep for 2 hours. wake up and head to Fullerton State at 3am. The registration process was supposed to start at 3 but did not start until 5:30am. And on top of that we were driving aimlessly to different parking lots since we didn't know which one it was. And we took about 150 people so about 20 cars in a line drove around the college looking for the lot. We found the right lot around 4:30 and lined up to register. The morning was freezing and it was a painful wait standing in the cold.
During the games there is a thing called SPUF. spirit, something, something, and friendship. well basically schools compete for the SPUF trophy by being enthusiastic and unified while cheering. So throughout the whole day schools were shouting cheers to one another such as: FRIENDSHIP FRIENDSHIP FRIENDSHIP. I did not expect so much happiness around me.. it was kinda scary and annoying at the same time yet fun. After the games there was an after party to go to but yeahh lalala. After that on Sunday we drove back stopping at hometown buffet, which wasn't bad, and got back to San Jose. Yes I did miss a lot of details throughout the trip but its not worth talking about.
Today is Tuesday and I have another 1500 word 1st draft essay due Thursday along with a Math exam. I can't wait until the Halloween weekend so I can go and treat my home sickness. But I know the weekends fly by so fast so I shall appreciate as much of it as possible. Oh and me and my friends have started a new blog which should be in the side link. We are going to start making movies and we named ourselves Juicebox Productions. Honestly I don't really like the name of it but you should have seen the other names we came up with.. Well I think I'll get used to the name, but for now check out the blog and feel free to comment on our non existing movies.

Sigh
The semester is coming close to an end and it is quite nerve racking. I am not looking forward to finals based on the difficulty of the midterms. In Chemistry I didn't do too well on the first exam but I just took a lab exam and I know I bombed that one. The only thing keeping my hopes up is my lab grade. I have been getting good grades on the reports so hopefully it would even out to a passing grade. I just received an email from the science department saying that I am not doing too well in math either. I overlooked this class and ahh I have to get my grade up. But this section is on derivatives and I am pretty confident in this exam so hopefully I ace it. Although I did feel the same way about the last exam and did bad on it so I better study up some more. But in English, I have been doing fairly well. That class is focused all on essay writing. We haven't read a book yet just a bunch of essays. I am really fearing that I would have to retake a class. I just hope I can get my act together in time.
Besides from school the Friendship Games is coming up this weekend. Although the trip is going to be a bit pricey, it should be fun. I do need a small vacation because getting bad grades can be tiresome. Oh and to add on to the negative news, I have a weakk fantasy basketball team. I missed the first few rounds and got DWade, Andre Iguodola, Deron Williams, and Ron Artest as my power players. Ahh stupid Yahoo rankings~! oh well hopefully people in my league are dumb enough to trade some of their playerz. haha well other than that I had a pretty chill weekend. I stayed over my friends apartment and we hung out and had some good laughs. We are on the verge of becoming crazy youtube stars so check us out soon! hahah

relaxing saturday
Today I had the house to myself as my family went to help out at a garage sale/car wash at my church. I have to do this essay by Tuesday and I have a lot more writing to do. Well I woke up and decided to make waffles. I have to say I am quite proud of my cooking skills. Those were the most bomb diggidy best waffles I've had for awhile. Then again it could be because I've been having the same food over at San Jose for the past month and a half.. My waffles looked so good that I took a picture of it and it should be down below. After that I got on my laptop and did some essay writing but didn't get too far. I also watched Van Helsing which was somewhat entertaining. Well for lunch I walked to In n Out and remembered it was fleet week. Well I didn't really remember but just noticed the really loud planes flying over my head. I got my burger and a milkshake and watched the planes fly around from my living room. The Blue Angels stole the show as usual. They just fly really fast and in formation so it looks cool. The other planes actually did spins/corkscrews and more tricks. It was quite a nice sunny day for San Francisco, especially for the planes to fly. I was able to take some pictures of the Blue Angels with my dad's uber camera. The lens are pretty powerful so it looks really clear. But I do suck at taking pictures, thank goodness for autofocus. And I'll post some here even though I put them up on facebook. Other than that my Saturday has been efficient in doing nothing and it feels great. Now I have to do loads of homework tomorrow.. horay!

Grab your coat, feed your goat, and go vote!
So as you all know the presidential elections are coming up. Originally I didn’t plan to vote because I’m just clueless on what’s going on. But I’ve been always hearing that this is one of the most important elections of all time or something like that. And I just don’t want to miss out on the opportunity. Yes that is a bad reason to vote so I have been watching youtube videos on the debates between the Ps and VPs. As of now I am leaning towards Barack instead of John. I do agree with John’s values but times like these calls for someone.. someone cool.. someone bomb.. what about Barack Obomba!? Yeaaah do you smell what Barack is cooking?! Yeah ok I’m not that much of a fan so don’t dump me in the pile of democrats yet. I just want someone who could fix the economy and end the war. Barack seems that he just wants to get out and not fight it out which I admire about him. Also he wants to cut taxes on the middle class which is a plus. Whether ending means to retreat or to defeat, just end it. Cause my generation is going to pay for it annnd I am that self-centered..
Yeah ok sorry for that politics talk.. I am usually oblivious and clueless about current events.. I mean I use the Colbert Report as my reliable source. Anyways school has been pretty good although midterms killed me. Last week I went to this concert starring Passion, Gabe Bondoc, and Miss Caroline. These people are famous because of youtube so check them out. My friends and I got their autographs/pictures which was cool..although we waited for more than hour.. which wasn’t cool.. Well if any of you have views or opinions on the election please feel free to educate me and I’ll give you my valuable. kkthx
Oh and here’s a pretty insightful video on Barack Obama. It talks about his religion/beliefs before he ran for president.. o.O

Fill-a-pee-noooh
Well a lot has happened since last week. I finally went home over the weekend and it felt so relaxing. On friday I hung out with my friends and got to the city kinda late for dinner. On saturday I went to my friend's to get a haircut. 18 years of the same haircut has changed finally.. although I did have one of those bowl haircuts when I was like 4.. my mom said that when I was a baby she would rotate me when I slept so I wouldn't have a flat spot on my head. HAha so I guess I could thank her now. but now I look like all my other filipino friends which isn't bad but- ok yeah that part kinda sucks. but now it feels good to not worry about my hair in the morning or anything like that. annd yeah the next time you see me, i'll have krazy shoes, skin tight pants, some tshirt that no one gets, a hat, and you'll see me karaoke on wednesday nights.. haha just kidding to all my filipino fans. but i like my new haircut. it'll get some getting used to though.
My roommate and I rearranged the room and we have a lot more space now. Now I can do a cartwheel into a backflip off the wall and out the door. we have a lot more room in the middle of the dorm and we don't know what to do with so much space.. so we end up leaving the trash on the floor to take up space. school is getting harder which sucks.. and not much to talk about there. I went to my friend's dorm and there was a guy who had supersmash melee and brawl and I asked him if he wanted to play. He was talking trash saying how good he was and that he would kick my behind in that game. So of course I took up the challenge and I beat him, undefeated. gg. that made my day. he was a sore loser but hey, who wouldn't be after trash talking and losing. I joined the filipino club with my friends and its pretty fun. theres this Friendship Games coming up where teams from different colleges compete in these random games involving running and crawling on the grass. So on a weekend we get to go down to socal representing san jose and compete. well that about sums up my weekend.

Another Satisfying Week
Today concluded my speed reading classes and I suppose I did get something from it. I was hesitant in going to my class today since I didn't expect to get much from it. When I walked into the room, there was less than half of the students since the first class. I guess they were thinking the same as me. Well I talked to my partner who was majoring in aerospace engineering. We kinda talked about what career we wanted to pursue and I told him I didn't know what I wanted to be. He told me his ideal job was to be one of those guys in the flight control for NASA. That seemed like a crazy job and that got me thinking what I wanted to do. For a little bit I was thinking of what it would be like to major in aviation and become a pilot of some sort. That guy said that a lot of people who drop out of engineering usually major in either aviation or business since most of the required courses are similar. That was somewhat of an encouragement knowing that I got other choices besides engineering. Towards the end of the class I read Dibs: In Search of Self just because I wanted to know how it ended. The boy ends up being a genius the whole time and finally is able to solve his emotion problems. Now that the class is over I am able to read faster and understand more. The secret technique worth $300 is to use your hand to guide you as you read. yup thats it. They call it long smooth underline. And their other techniques are called "short smooth underline" and "mild push" It's the same thing but one you underline the middle of each line and the other technique you just read faster. So the point is to block the words below and it pushes your eyes to move faster. The thing is that only yesterday the teacher told us to not read every word but to skip two or three words. So if a sentence read, "Matt is totally cool and loves watching those NBA guys." You would read "Matt totally loves guys." ok wait.. forget that example.. But the point is that you would automatically pick up the words you skip over. And don't read the same speed you would speak. That advice really helped me also. Just that they told us yesterday when I thought they should have told us that advice earlier..
I have appreciated my classes and professors a lot more over the week. My chemistry teacher is pretty funny as she cracks jokes during her lectures. One time she was trying to get the internet to work but it wasn't loading. The class could see what she was doing since it was hooked up to the projector. After about five minutes of her talking and trying to fix the computer at the same time there was a silence. As we all stared at the white screen some guy said, "gg." and I lol'd. I felt stupid for laughing since no one else laughed and I kinda just played it off and faded my laugh into a sigh. Hahah but its good to know that there are fellow nerds out there.
This weekend wasn't so bad. I played some basketball and pool with my friend who also stayed at school. There were only two other guys in the gym and they weren't the greatest players on earth which was exactly why we went at that time. We played a 2 on 2 game and it was pretty fun even though we lost. I did get two blocks, which is a proud achievement for me. One of them was pretty insane and I kinda felt bad since it wasn't really necessary to hit the ball that far out.. it was almost as unnecessary as this Lol

My Weakend
Hahaha I read Jason's xanga and it was quite entertaining. Props to him for that
This weekend I stayed here at San Jose because I had this class on Saturday and Sunday. It is a speed reading class and its 3 hours long. I would say that the class is pretty much pointless except for the one technique they told us to use which is called "long smooth underline" Basically you just use your hand to guide yourself while reading. It does help since I increased my reading from 220 words per minute to 320 words per minute. They say that we're going to increase our reading speed by double. The thing is that the class feels like a high school class while there are adults in the class.. Seems rather childish to have us read and talk to our neighbor about the reading every time. Well I did pay for this class so that's my main motivation to go next weekend. The book we're reading is non fiction piece about a boy named Dibs. His parents think he's mentally retarded but he's just emotionally ill. And this psychologist, who is also the author, helps him get through and he is now able to act normally. If your major is psychology I highly recommend this book. It's also just an interesting book to read. You don't see me recommending books too often so this must mean that the book is good... then again I haven't read a whole book since green eggs and ham.. which I also recommend.
Evan, Lindsay, and Tiffany Dun visited me and Nina on saturday. It was cool to see them once more before they start college. We hung around the empty campus and did a whole lot of nothing really. Well they did watch me do my laundry which had to be very exciting. Later at night they went clubbing while I, being the cool cat that I am, stayed in my dorm and went online. However I have been attempting to skateboard lately with my roommate's skateboard. (and yes I have changed subjects abruptly) It's actually not too hard to learn and I plan on getting a board when I go back to the city. This also makes me want to play the drums more, living that skateboarder lifestyle. Well on Friday, my friend (won't mention names) and I used my roommate's skateboard to learn for the first time. Well I somewhat knew how to ride but im still pretty noob at it. Anyways my friend got on the skateboard and ended up on the ground. It was pretty funny to watch and even funnier the second time he fell. It was like in slow motion how he fell back as the skateboard went forward. Although I did eat the cement pretty hard so I shouldn't be laughing.. hahaha but still it was pretty funny..
Other than that weekends here are pretty dull. It's like a ghost town. Then again it is peaceful.. I would rather be at home though. There's nothing like using the computer at home. I do have some plans when I go home next next week. Firstly I plan to get a skateboard and stuff like that. Secondly I'm going to get my running shoes and track spikes cause I want to run again. My friend Tommy said that the San Jose State's club track team has about 20 people on it and that its not too hard. I just wanna run around a little bit.
-this just in- my roommate just brought in a 40" plasma screen. I think San Jose has just gotten a bit better now. helloooo guitar heroooo

captain's log stardate 090808
Hahaha ah man. my family used to always watch star trek voyager. watching it as a kid it looked so real. now when i watch it i just laugh whenever the ship gets attacked because i could imagine the actors on the set looking like idiots as the camera shakes haha. well its the third week of college and its picking up. My homework load is getting worse including this 6 page essay I have to write by Thursday. Oh and I just realized that I wanted to look educated when I write these so I am trying to use correct punctuation and stuff. My weekend was pleasant. I saw PingPong Playa with Corey's family, Adrian, and my brother. It was about this first generation Chinese guy who acts ghetto. He has to play in this ping pong tourney and yeah thats about it. The movie was a low budget independent movie but it was still pretty good. The main actor and the director were at the theater and had some Q&A after the movie. I asked a question about the soundtrack and got a ping pong! hahah wooo.
So far I've been going back home every weekend. I'm really glad that I am able to go back home especially during the first few weeks of school. The first thing I do when I get home is watch TV on my sofa. It feels so good to just lie down and not stare at a brick wall. During the college application process I put my heart on getting into davis or irvine. Any mid UC would have been good for me. I remember Irvine excepted people pretty early and I still didn't receive anything from them. I started to get nervous and I checked the online thing like three times a day. Maybe even more.. I checked it so often that I memorized the freaking user number and password which is like 9 digits each haha. I was at Hawaii on my laptop when I found out that I didn't get into Irvine and I was pretty mad. My choices of colleges were either UCSC, SJSU, SFSU, or SDSU. I was leaning towards San Diego just because it was in socal and I wanted to get away from home. Now that I am at San Jose, I am so glad that I didn't go to San Diego. This is the one time that not listening to teachers' advice helped me. They said to not follow your friends and to make your own decision. Well I pretty much followed my friends here and I'm satisfied with the choice I made. Eh the fact that SJSU had a good engineering program also was another factor too.. So yeah that is why I am sitting here now and not at San Diego. Yeah today's post was a pointless post so if you have read this far I am sorry that I wasted your time.. Aha just kidding Im not. lalalalalalawastingyourtimeallalalalalalalalakeepreadinglalalallalalala
The good thing about college is that I have a lot of free time which I have already said previously. And with my free time, I have been playing guitar hero a lot hah. So if I don't get a job as a drummer or some sort of engineer, I could always teach guitar hero to kids and make a living off of that.. even though there are 6 year olds who are better than me.. but I got my future all planned out.

Gosh darn it.
I got back to San Jose yesterday hitching a ride from my friend. I'm glad that I didn't have to take Cal Train cause I had a lot of things to bring with me such as my books, laundry, food, butler, and laptop. So I went into my dorm and relaxed with my roommate and his friends, who practically live in our dorm also. My other roommate came and brought a mini fridge to our dorm which now occupies about half of our walking space. Also my other roommate bought guitar hero 3 over the weekend and we just rocked out on medium difficulty all night long. (stupid orange button..) Well I woke up and went to my chemistry class but when I walked into the lecture room, it was empty. I called my friend thinking that the class changed to a different room. I asked my friend where was chemistry at today and she said, "Isn't chemistry is tomorrow?" and that was when I realized it was Tuesday and not Monday... sooo yeah. I got owned pretty hard but the good thing is that I only missed my English class instead of a mandatory class or anything. So I went back to my dorm to play guitar hero. I didn't think that I would miss a class this early in the school year.. but I have officially played hooky! It doesn't feel as thrilling as it looks like on television. Maybe cause on tv, highschoolers are the ones skipping school... even middle schoolers. Just shows how cool I am.
Well here are some pictures of my dorm. I had to use my webcam so the pictures are pretty small and bad quality. As you can see I am living quite the luxurious college life.. I am able to take a whole 3 steps and not walk into anything. jealousss?

Welcome Ladies and Gentlemen
It has been awhile since xanga used to be the cool thing to do. And a lot has happened since then so I'll briefly fill you in about the high points of my life.. Senior year. Graduation. Summer. College. Basically it.. but currently I am at home for the labor day weekend. My first week at San Jose State was pretty smooth. The college life is great. I feel independent getting to do whatever I want whenever I want pretty much. I can do things like eat with my mouth open and not push in my chair. Living life on the edge!! The professors seem nice but then again it is the first week. Mechanical Engineering degree is what I'm aiming for but I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up. I just don't want to regret anything I do especially something as big as a career. I always hear things like "do what you love" "follow your dreams" "Coocoo for Cocoa Puffs" and thats when I really want to agree with that but reality hits. In my opinion I see very few people who do what they love and still are able to support themselves and families. Having a job just to get by seems like the typical type of life and I just hope mechanical engineering will get me a job that I won't regret.
Eh well I don't know. I still have plenty of time to decide on my career and as for now I'm just enjoying life. I recently got my driver's license and I feel quite proud even though I am a little late. Technically I think I failed because there was a 16th mark (15 errors max to pass) on one question saying I got an error and I got it correct but the driving inspector let me pass. My driving teacher drove me back home and on the way he was saying things with his Chinese accent like, "See I was right, you should haf taken won moor lesson. If your driving inspector didn't know me, you wood haf failed." I was pretty annoyed of him just because he was a jerk then and during my driving lessons. But who cares I got my license and that's what all that matters.
It has been pretty hot lately not only in SF but in San Jose. Almost as hot as my mirror.. It hit 100+ degrees and it felt pretty bad. I actually have to take a shower more than once a week. Other than those few hot days I love college. I'm living with two other roommates and they're cool. The food isn't all that bad cause there's a buffet, Subway, and another cafe type place. This Freshmen 15 is scaring people in eating healthy but I know I'm going to maintain my weight because somehow I've been pretty skinny my whole life even when I tried to bulk up. And besides everyone is sweating off their fat from the heat. I tried this one Chinese imitation place and it was horrible. The restaurant was called Noodle Bowl and noodles didn't come with the meal. It was just bean spouts, carrots, some sort of choy, and won ton. I was stupid to go eat at a restaurant with no line. I see a lot of kids from high school at San Jose too which is pretty cool. I haven't met a whole lot of new people yet so having my high school friends to hang out with is good. So far everything's good. Life's good.
Alright till next time, dank you come again
